WHO WE ARE
Do you ever feel like you’re forced to find a way to describe yourself based on whatever currently exists in society but you just don’t fit into the box? JAYS believe something which cannot be contained within themselves, should not have to be confined to a tick box (who defines genre anyway?) They invite you to Discover Different with their genre-blending sounds.
A soulful vocal tells stories sown with gospel and folk influenced harmonies. Thoughts are musically entwined with warm piano, layers of indie guitar lines and R&B inspired grooves.
Danny & Amy are two friends who became the writing power behind JAYS. Both full time musicians themselves, they pull together a band of industry professionals to join them on their journey; independently releasing, recording and performing their music.

JAYS love to bring the musical layers of their songs to life in their live performance so the preferred line-up is their 8 piece band (4 vocals, 2 keyboards, 1 electric guitar, bass & drums) consisting of professional London musicians with a depth of experience in the industry. JAYS acoustic line-up is a 6 piece (4 vocals, 2 keyboards, 1 electric guitar) which creates a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Smaller line ups can also be discussed.
